What We Do

We are a stabilizing force in the lives of foster families. Our services make foster care sustainable so families can be healthier and say “YES” for the duration of a child’s time in care. Long term homes give kids the stability and consistency they need to thrive.

Wraparound Care

Wraparound Care is intentional, comprehensive, collaborative approach to meeting the multifaceted needs of foster families. This ongoing approach provides resources and services to families that help make their daily lives sustainable and structured.

The goal is that foster parents would be healthier, happier & have a larger capacity to care for their kids in ways they wouldn’t otherwise be able to. When we pick up practical weight, families’ lives slow down enough for them to be as intentional as they need to be in order to raise healthy, successful kids. Below you will find SOME of the services we offer families on a regular basis. This list is always changing due to the nature of foster families’ ever-changing needs.

Foster Parent Therapy

This is our only required service for our “Foster Light Families”. The state pays for children to have therapy and we see the massive benefits this has on children in the foster care system. However, foster parents do not have therapy provided. We believe that therapy helps adults become healed & whole too. We also believe healed adults are better parents. Because of these beliefs, we provide opportunities for foster parents to be in affordable therapy so they can lead & raise healthier children.

You have the opportunity to invest in the emotional well being of local foster parents, in turn investing in the health and wellness of foster youth.

“I’ve made leaps and bounds of growth in therapy. It’s helped me learn how to regulate my own emotions so I can better support my kids and their needs. Therapy makes me a better mom, wife, friend and colleague. I can’t imagine where I’d be emotionally without it!” - Foster mom

Organization Services

The closets are a disaster, spilling out onto the floor. The cabinets are a mess, packed to the brim. You’re don’t know if you’re using your space well or not and to be honest, you haven’t had time or space to re-think it all. These are the issues that large families deal with. What we wouldn’t give for massive, perfectly organized closets every few feet in our homes, but lets be honest, money doesn’t grow on trees.

We send an organizer into large foster family homes to help create systems that will make large family life more sustainable. This is perfecting your backpack/coat/book organization system, we can tackle children’s clothing situations, organize the pantry to make it more usable space, or create a wall with hooks for all of the random things. The goal is that our families have systems that make everyday life run smoothly in the midst of school, work, therapy, home visits, and TONS of foster care meetings and appointments.

“When Erin came in to organize our playroom, I thought it would feel nice but I had no idea how much weight it would take off my shoulders. I wept when I saw it. The systems she created have helped our kids maintain a clean playroom. This has been a gamechanger for my mental capacity. Thank you!” - Foster Mom

Cleaning Services

We believe that all children deserve to grow up in a clean space. We realize that foster parents’ main goal is to care for the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical needs of children and housework often falls to the wayside. We want to support foster families with home cleaning services to ensure foster children are learning the value of a clean space & experiencing the peace that a clean space brings.

“Every Friday after the cleaning crew comes, I just walk in my house and sit and stare at it. I’ve even cried relieved tears multiple times! I know it wont stay perfect for long but it’s so nice to know it’s deep cleaned and I can just spend the weekend loving on the kids and not having to do chores all weekend. It’s so crazy how much of a mental load it takes off too! It’s honestly held my sanity together during this season. I don’t know what we’d do without it." -Foster parent

Laundry Services

Every parent knows that with each child in the home, somehow there’s a massive amount of laundry added to the weekly count. We believe that children deserve the dignity of going to school each day with clean clothing, while we also acknowledge that sometimes laundry is the last thing on the to do list when you have a large family with significant emotional & behavioral needs. We want to help foster families take everyday mundane tasks off their list so they can focus their energy on pouring into the children in their homes.

“I had no idea how much of a burden this would take off of our family. Since we’ve been getting laundry services, my wife and I have been able to spend the evenings connecting with our foster kids, helping them with homework and having a family meal together. With 6 kids it’s just hard to ever have all the laundry clean so we’d spend hours each night folding and putting laundry away. Now we set it out once a week and its returned within a day all folded and smelling fresh. Absolute magic.” -Foster Dad

Grocery Delivery

It feels impossible to get a balanced meal on the table every night, have a stocked pantry with snacks & a refrigerator thats full of food. Groceries are expensive and shopping takes time. On average, each foster child has 4 meetings/appointments per week. This adds a lot to your life in addition to kids’ typical schedule with school and extracurricular activities. When you have MULTIPLE foster children, this can fill up your schedule quite a bit, making everyday tasks, like feeding your family, unbelievably overwhelming.

“I can’t believe how convenient it is to have the groceries delivered to us. Something about grocery shopping triggers one of our foster sons so every single time we went to the store, it was 4 kids running around and 1 having an absolute melt down. I had started to dread going to the store so much. Delivery relieves so much stress and gives us so much time back!”

We are always accepting applications, but will move forward with families when we have the funds to do so.
